At the clear blue Mediterranean Sea

At the Montmartre villa, the pope-smoking men
The bard lowers his head and
Walk pass the winding loneliness ahead of him
He is collecting from the air the next sentence of his new poem
The girl afar is hesitating like him too

The silver coin the the girl's hands dropped into the pond
Her facial expression is as beautiful as the ripples
The tune of the guitar has changed into a happy waltz
